Tickets & key timings

Gates open at 10.45am for what is set be a great day’s jump racing at Sandown Park Racecourse. Tickets start from £16 for the Grandstand enclosure and £22.40 for the Premier Enclosure when booked in advance. Children under 18 go free when accompanied by a paying adult. Hospitality is also available from £120pp, contact our hospitality team on 01372 47 77 47 for more details. Tickets can be booked online or by calling 0344 579 3012.

The Racing

Race Schedule, runners & entries

Betfred Day is set to host seven races. A day filled with high quality jump racing with three races offering £50,000 in prize money each. The Betfred Masters Handicap Steeple Chase race is the longest race of the day run over 3 miles. First run in 1964, The Betfred TV Scilly Isles Novices’ Chase (Grade 1) is open to horses five years and older, last year’s winner Bristol de Mai and jockey, Daryl Jacob have gone on to place in every race since, including at the Cheltenham Festival and most recently winning at Haydock earlier in January. 16 years ago Best Mate also won this race early on in his career. Competition Entry

Prizes to be won, free entry

Fancy your chances at guessing one of our race winners? Head over to the Main Entrance Foyer on the day, fill in a competition slip with your name and email address and post it into the box of one of the runners. Winners will be drawn from the winning horse box only and will be announced after the race as well as contacted via email. Prizes include lunch in the Brasserie, tickets for Olly Murs and Winner packages. Race to be specified on the day so come along clued up. Racegoers found to have entered more than once will be disqualified.

To accompany the racing, why not grab a free real ale taster from the Real Ale Bar located in the Surrey Hall, simply ask our friendly staff before buying. Betfred Day also sees the launch of our brand new Sandown Park Golden Ale locally brewed by Windsor and Eton, available from the real ale bar, Sandown View and Chasers Bar. Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten, there are some International Rugby games scheduled, you can catch the games in our Sports Bar between racing.
